Welcome to Komos

Founded in 2008 in Bologna, we are the first LGBTQIA+ equal voice choir in Italy.

We spread through music and our histrionic performances values of equality and inclusion,

offering a repertoire ranging from 16th-century madrigals to Britney Spears.

Another Brick - La storia che non c'era

Another Brick promuove cultura del rispetto e della parità, raccontando la storia del movimento LGBTQIA+ e dei diritti civili.
Attraverso musica, teatro e testimonianze, il coro Komos contrasta discriminazioni e discorsi d’odio, soprattutto nelle periferie.

Komos&Co - Music that makes community

La rassegna annuale di eventi e concerti, a firma Komos, che porta a Bologna cori e protagonisti della scena musicale a scopo benefico. La rassegna si svolge ogni anno tra maggio e giugno. Nel mese di maggio, Komos organizza un calendario di eventi che portano a Bologna personalità e gruppi di varia natura performativa, per mettere in comune musica, arte, esperienze, passione.
L’edizione del 2025 della rassegna, ARMOCROMIE, è un progetto sostenuto con i fondi Otto per Mille della Chiesa Valdese.

My Free Song - Recital

Our recital with which every year, thanks to the General Pact of Collaboration for the promotion and protection of the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and community in the city of Bologna, we bring to schools an interactive educational path to retrace the events of queer people during the fascist regime, in order to renew memory and awareness.
