


Welcome to Komos
Founded in 2008 in Bologna, we are the first LGBTQIA+ equal voice choir in Italy.
We spread through music and our histrionic performances values of equality and inclusion,
offering a repertoire ranging from 16th-century madrigals to Britney Spears.

Another Brick promotes a culture of respect and equality by telling the story of the LGBTQIA+ movement and civil rights.
Through music, theatre, and personal testimonies, the Komos choir combats discrimination and hate speech, particularly in deprived areas.
Another Brick – The story that wasn't there is a project supported by the Waldensian Church's Otto per Mille funds.
The annual review of events and concerts, by Komos, which brings choirs and protagonists of the music scene to Bologna for charity. The review takes place every year between May and June. In May, Komos organises a calendar of events that bring personalities and groups of various performance types to Bologna, to share music, art, experiences, and passion.
The 2025 edition of the festival, ARMOCROMIE, is a project supported by Otto per Mille funds from the Waldensian Church.
Our recital with which every year, thanks to the General Pact of Collaboration for the promotion and protection of the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and community in the city of Bologna, we bring to schools an interactive educational path to retrace the events of queer people during the fascist regime, in order to renew memory and awareness.
